1David Roberts – Regional Operations Manager (North West UK)
David has over 18 years’ experience in tendering and was more recently National Bid Manager at the Co-operative Bank. He is particularly knowledgeable in tendering to the Public Sector including local and central government and through competitive tendering over a 10 year period, was instrumental in transforming the Bank into market leaders in providing banking services to the local authority sector. He has a thorough understanding of the end to end bidding process managing bids through the entire lifecycle including pre-tender meetings, PQQ, pricing, bid writing, post tender presentations and bid feedback and has regularly been a source of advice to companies seeking tender responses. David has a successful track record in tendering for public sector framework contracts and is skilful in analysing bid feedback to proactively develop and formulate future bid strategy. He is ACIB and PRINCE 2 qualified.

1Kirsten Hemingway – Regional Operations Manager (South West UK)
Kirsten brings a wealth of bidding expertise particularly within sectors ranging from Health and Social Care, Technology, Facilities to Innovation.
Kirsten recognises the importance of clear and effective communication in the bidding environment; ‘Usually the in-house people who will support me have finite amounts of time to contribute to the bid so I tend to ask questions, write them in to the responses to the tender and then ask the subject matter experts to comment on my input.’
Kirsten also works with companies who want to innovate and helps them source funds to do that. ‘My way of working is to visit the organisation I am going to be writing for and to look at the particular projects “in the flesh.” Often the processes and procedures are best seen and many initiatives that will score highly are just something the company does automatically without necessarily previously describing it to someone else.

1Mark Featherstone – Regional Operations Manager (South East UK)
Mark has over 20 years’ experience in senior management within health and social care, both in operational leadership, at Chief Operating Officer level, and within Senior Business Development roles for providers such as Virgin Health and Care UK as well as large Hospital Trusts and NHS providers. With bid success rates of over 75%, Mark specialises in unscheduled care and primary care, although successful bids also include community services, children’s’ services and specialist services.
Over the last 12 months Mark has successfully bid on tenders worth more than £200M, ranging from £0.6M to £113M.

Russel SneydRussell Sneyd – Regional Operations Manager (West Midlands UK)
Russell’s experience as a senior bid and strategy specialist has involved working on hundreds of millions of pounds worth of bids predominantly in the NHS and independent health and social care sectors. During the last 3 years he has been instrumental in winning over £600M in total contract values, including successfully bidding for two outsourced mental-health services, a substance misuse service, learning disability services, care homes, housing related care and support and outsourced debt recovery.

He is also an experienced project and change manager having led on a major business development turnaround project on behalf of a leading national children’s charity. Doug is a client focused Business Development and Bid Manager with experience of the HR/recruitment, Welfare to Work, Skills and more recently the third sector. For over 10 years he has developed new business streams and led a large number of bids, primarily across public sector commissioned markets including the NHS, Local Authorities and Central Government. Doug has a detailed understanding of new business development and competitive tendering processes (Public Sector Contract Regulations) from EOI through to contract negotiation with annual contract values varying between £0.5M to £50M P/A.

Peter has a sound commercial background supporting more than 28 years bid and programme experience. He provides hands-on support and consultancy services for both equipment and service provision contracts. Peter has a proven track record in the practical implementation of a wide range of bid management processes, from fast turn-round high volume proposals to large complex multi-billion pound bids. Peter has helped to secure over £15billion of new business in the public and private sectors.

13Graham Arnold – Regional Operations Manager (Midlands UK)
Graham has over twenty-five years’ experience of winning funding from Central Government and the European Union. Mainly for Further Education Colleges, Universities, Independent Training Providers, Sports Clubs, and Local Enterprise Partnerships. 1Fiona Quiroli – Regional Operations Manager (Benelux)
Fiona is a Bid Manager and Proposal Writer with more than 10 years’ experience working at global and European level. Fiona worked for 7 years as Regional Bid Manager (EMEA) in a top international law firm, and more recently for a software technology services business, listed on the London Stock Exchange. She has managed complex international RFPs across various industry sectors, including banking and finance, retail, transport, automotive, technology, telecommunications and manufacturing. Projects range from small focused bids to multi-product, multi-service offerings, involving highly matrixed teams. She has developed, implemented and institutionalised RFP management processes in previous roles, and is skilled at understanding and detangling the key selling points on which to build compelling, well-written business proposals. 2Margit Čampa – Regional Operations Manager (Balkan States)
Originally from Slovenia, Margit holds a Master’s degree in international law and 17 years of work experience, of which 9 years in the Government of Slovenia and other central state institutions during and after the EU accession period, a very experienced lawyer in the field of Public Procurement, Concessions and PPP. With her in-depth understanding of all aspects of Public procurement procedures and Project Management she is helping companies in analysing tender documentations and preparing their bids. She is also handling Public Procurement Procedures for several contracting authorities – from Project Planning to Contract Conclusion. Margit gained international experience in EU- financed projects.

3Lee Thomas – Regional Operations Manager (USA)
Lee is a seasoned proposal manager with substantial network architecture accomplishments and an active Top Secret security clearance. As a specialist in leading fast-paced proposal projects, usually of a highly technical nature, Lee engages well with clients to respond effectively to RFP requirements, develop complex solutions, and deliver winning high-value proposals. Formerly a Senior Network Architect and Engineer with MCI/WorldCom and Bechtel, his clients include several global systems integrators, commercial customers, NASA, the U.S. Department of Defense, and many within the Intelligence Community. Soumyesh is based in Singapore and operates across SE Asia and India. With over 24 years of experience in Bid and Proposal Management, Sales Process Transformation and Services sales his clients, in both private and public sectors, extend across multiple geographies. He has lived in India, USA, Finland and Singapore and worked extensively in all countries in Asia Pacific. As the Head of Bid Management he has led multi-disciplinary, cross-country teams in winning some of the largest, most complex and strategic deals in the Asia Pacific region.

Soumyesh has been instrumental in designing and delivering training programs on sales process framework and bid management models to in-house sales, bid management, solution and delivery teams as part of their sales skills development. In addition to operational bid management, Soumyesh has planned, designed and executed critical sales process transformation initiatives with a focus on making the customer acquisition process more effective and efficient. He also spearheaded an initiative to create an efficient framework for remote processing of standard, large volume, small value proposals, resulting in efficiency and significant value creation for the business. Soumyesh currently manages his own consulting and training business, an initiative dedicated to the practice of Bid and Proposal Management, a pioneering concept in South East Asia.

8Francis Giguere – Regional Operations Manager (Canada, Quebec and Eastern)
Francis Giguère combines thirty (30) years of experience as a business manager in Canada. He is also an adviser to institutional and private organisations on procurement matters. He is a speaker, university lecturer and trainer in business growth strategies as well as in reasoned approach to the management of strategic information within companies.In Canada, Francis is one of the few experts in the field of government business from a “strategist” point of view. In the last 10 years, he contributed to establish one of the few companies in that domain offering its services to the SME and large companies throughout the country, in both official languages (French, English).
